A local priest has agreed to hear my confession in about 90 minutes

It’ll be my second confession. But it’s not my regular parish. Is there a custom I should adhere to in a case such as this?

The custom is go 😉 It doesn’t matter if you swap up on which priest(s) you go to. I personally always go to my pastor or assoicate. But that’ s me. It;s agreat sacrement isn’t it? 😃
 
That was much easier than I thought. The words just came out and Fr. George didn’t scream at me.

He told me to say two Our Fathers and two Hail Marys.

I told him I’m new at this and he completely understood.

I can honestly say I’ve not had a bad experience with a priest. They’ve all been wonderful. 🙂
 
Laymen can freely go to any priest they wish for confession.

And even a religious can ask for an extraordinary confessor at any time for any reason.
