A friend just sent this to me on Facebook, and I thought many here would be interested.

Apparently, if I understand this correctly, this publication will do the same thing that Magnificat does for the Novus Ordo Mass.

Take a look at the link in there to sample the Advent Issue. It looks very promising! 👍

Please take a look and support them by subscribing. Only with financial support will they be able to grow and expand what they are trying to do.

Sounds exciting!!

This is awesome! Can you guys do me a big favor, and let me know if you like it when you have it in hand?👍

Looks like a great start. Next payday I’m going to subscribe!👍

Is this an actual story? It is extremely hard for me to tell whether the bishop has issued a specific, direct and recent statement. The article talks about his stance in 2007 remaining unchanged as of 2012. And isn’t it nice of the author to slip in a completely unrelated sexual abuse incident at the end?

Very interesting.

Do you have any idea what will be included? If there were Latin-English translations of all of the prayers, antiphons, etc. and everything was in order rather than having to flip back and forth, it would make a very nice tool. In fact, it might even convince me to give the EF another go if I could study things ahead of time so that I would understand what is being said.

Look at the sample, as I suggested. That should give you an idea I would think. I don’t work for them, so I don’t know any more than what’s on their site.

I just saw this on a blogpost a couple of days ago. I think we’ll get a year’s subscription and check it out.

The first link was about nursing schools?

Thought I would give this a gentle bump for those who may have have seen it when it was posted.

😃

Very reasonable cost of a subscription. I wonder if it’s too late to subscribe and receive the Advent issue ?

I’ll send an email asking.

That looks great! Thank you for sharing!

I hope in the future they will publish an EF counterpart to “Magnifikids” as well.
