A milestone has been reached

Let me recount the events which concern my post:

Last month, I asked you all to pray for my friend who was being sexually harassed.

To be completely straightforward with you, she is a thirteen year old girl, and the man who was then harassing her is more than 30 years old, and married, with children.

All of this stress weighed down on her so hard that her suicidal thoughts almost got the best of her, when I quickly (and finally) notified my parents who let her parents know about the whole situation. She was unable to commit suicide.

Notwithstanding her initial anger towards me that night and the next morning, she soon apologized profoundly and asked me to forgive her for her foolish anger; she also thanked me for preventing her suicide.

The police are currently investigating the situation, and my friend’s parents are not going to allow the man who was harassing her to bother her anymore, wether or not the justice system will find him guilty.

The milestone has been reached, and the worst of it is over I am sure. I ask you to pray for my friend so that she may recover fully as soon as possible, and to pray that justice may be dealt swiftly to this man.

Oh my gosh, I have had to be that person before to go to my parent with the information that a good friend was thinking about suicide.
