A miracle revealed(and a nun is beatified)

Mother Marianne Cope, a nun who founded St. Joseph’s Hospital here in Syracuse, N.Y. and later went to Hawaii to care for leprosy patients in a leprosy colony, was beatified in May of this year. A miracle that was attributed to Mother’s Cope’s intercession took place here in Syracuse. The miracle was finally revealed late last week.

Oh, excellent! I’m in the Syracuse diocese as well and this had been mentioned in our bulletin last summer, about her beatification. How nice to hear of this miracle.

I saw that story on the news, too! I thought they did a :yup: very good job of covering it…Interviewing the woman who was healed, & her family!!
