A Missionary's Prayer Request

Greetings in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will be leaving soon (September 14th) to go on a long term mission trip in Honduras, Central America. I humbly ask that everyone pray for me. Pray for safe travel and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide me in word and deed. Pray that my time there will be fruitful and will lead others to Christ. Pray that I may die to myself and live in Christ. Pray for the safety of my family I am leaving behind here in the USA. Also, please pray for the Missioners of Christ, the Francisican Friars of the Renewal and the people of Honduras, all of whom I will be working with. And pray for the misguided missionaries who spread discete and discent in the Church. That God will mend their hearts and bring them back into His fold. God bless you all!
 
God Bless Esclavo DeCristo, you will be kept in my prayers. I have just gotten back from taking a trip to Honduras as I had visited my missionary sister who is a nurse at the finca del Nino orphanage located near Trujillo. I pray that God’s graces will flow as you tackle your many challenges that await.
 
May God hold you in the palm of his hand and keep you safe.
may the Holy Spirit be with you always.
 
God bless. Maybe you will be able to get on the net from time to time and still post once in a while. We recently had a missionary named Fr. Bill, visit our parish. He works with the Mayan Indian people in Mexico. The poverty is so shocking as I am sure it is where you are going.

I made it here safe and sound Tuesday morning. The missionaries and friars here are awesome. I expect that God will do awesome things with my life while I am here. Thank you for all your prayers.

Your request in itself is a wonderful prayer, and evidence to me that the Lord is with you. My memory is not the greatest, but I will add you and your work to my daily prayer list. God is with you, and the Holy Spirit will speak through you!:blessyou:
 
I’m back in the USA to visit family and friends and to renew my visa. What a blessing it has been/is to serve the poor! God has definately changed my heart, attituted and life. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Please pray for me as I continue my missionary service at the end of this month. I am using my time there to discern my vocation and direction in life. God bless you all.
