I am currently a college student living a considerable distance away from home, and am renting out a room from my landlord who also lives in the same house. It is not unusual for him to invite women over from his workplace and to commit in acts of fornication. Tonight however, I believe he is committing adultery with another woman. I am unsure what my moral obligation is in this matter for these reasons.
- If I was to ask if he had sex with this women and he said yes, am I obliged to tell him he committed adultery since I have no relation to him?
- I am fearful of a negative reaction resulting in my removal from the living quarters and not having anywhere to live. I do not want to risk this especially as the semester is closing.
- I don’t believe he is a religious man as he never has gone to church while I have accommodated his home, however I have been praying for him and I do see signs of hope, as he said he was going to attend a religious activity with his mother and invited me to come, which I gladly accepted to show a good model of character in hopes of him finding Christ.
