A morning offering for older children

I am trying to find a morning offering prayer that isn’t too flowery and old fashioned or too young sounding and extremely short. Our children are 8-14. I am familiar with the traditional morning offering from the Apostleship of Prayer, could you suggest others that would be good for older children?
 
For love of me you came to earth;*
You gave your life for me.*
So every day you give me now
*I give back happily.
Take all my laughter, all my tears,
*Each thought, each word, each deed,*And let them be my all-day prayer
*To help all those in need

I really thought that you wouldn’t be happy, as I got them from the Apostleship of prayer website, and they seemed, atleast to me, flowery, old fashioned and young sounding.
