Prayer to the Holy Name of Jesus (in honor of the month of January)

O Lord Jesus, whose name is above all names, I call upon You, knowing You will respond. I call upon You out of my weakness, knowing Your strength. I call upon You because of my wants, knowing the bounty of Your almighty hand. I call upon You in every worry, knowing Your name will be my comfort.

Jesus, You sent down the Holy Spirit to enlighten us and show us the true way to follow You. Now Jesus, may Your name be a banner before us, leading our footsteps in the path of Your way.

Grant that in Your name, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, we may come to Your glory as we honor Your name and hold it before us, a light in our darkness, a strong help in our weakness. Amen.

Update: The family of this mother has been told she wil not improve and is close to death. My dear and very sweet liitte daughter of this mother wh is my student will be tod this weekend that her Mother will never come home. My heart aches for this girl and Mother. PLEASE pray!! And that I have His wisdom in whatever I can do to help this sweet girl. Also you must know this little girl has no friends, she invited 4 or5 girls she thought to her birthday let year and NO one came… She had planed everything herself , it was difficult. Her next birthday will be in a month, pray she has some friends to come. This poor little girl Needsyour prayers!!!
