You answered the divine call 
With a ready spirit, 
And forsook all the comforts of the world 
To dedicate yourself to God

You labored manfully

Because of your power, all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort. Be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant.
