If you were to create a movie regarding the Islamic Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, what scenes would you put in it?

I’m not looking for your details about the whole movie, but perhaps you could suggest a scene that would be worthy to teach people about Muhammad.

The idea is to create a movie that could teach people about Muhammad.

There already are movies about Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him! 👍

There is one called the Message

And another one very similar that happens to be a cartoon instead of live-action, called Muhammad: The Last Prophet.

I’ve seen both and found them both to be pretty weird and hard to follow since they don’t show the Prophet Muhammad (saaws) and neither do they show any of the major Companions!!

Some of the best scenes? The torture of the family of Yassar–these people were being tortured by some of the Quraysh for becoming Muslim. In the cartoon version the beginning/ending scenes are really nice showing how Islam commands people to be good to the poor. The death of Abu Talib was kind of interesting, too. Both films are kind of hard to watch though, but if I had to recommend one I’d pick the cartoon.

In the late 70’s there was a movie about Muhammad that hit US theaters…I think it was called “Muhammed, Messenger of God.”

It was very well done I thought. My wife and I went to a packed theater in San Jose Ca. to see it.

I thought about this a lot. The opening scene of the movie would show two men in the desert with one of the individuals facing the camera and the other with His back to the camera. The figure facing the camera would have distinctive green eyes and would be saying:
“If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”…

Then the movie fades to 600 years later, showing the birth of Mohammed and events that lead up the first call in the cave at Hira. We see the back of Mohammed and suddenly a spirit arrives (with distinctive green eyes) and says:
“Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists)…”

I would love to see a movie based on Muhammed’s life, but only if it was faithful to both sides. It should show him, warts and all so to speak.

It will never, ever happen.

😦 gives you shivers doesn’t it!

It would probably be close to what Geert Wilders did. And I would include more historical evidence of their jihads based on mohammed’s words and deeds.

the usual games that are played that deny the violence that has happened and the destruction of so much in the path of islam. And then what is the end product - the stagnation that mohammed’s words and deeds have brought to whole countries.

And also the fascism that is islam that was created by a paranoid, probably depressed and overly sexed guy who actually tormented and abused other’s religions and then turned around and claimed he was the one tormented and abused. And lastly - how so many could follow such a guy. As with Geert Wilders video - show the mindless marching, as did the Nazis do the same with Hitler, and the communist soldiers did with Stalin, and Mao, etc while marching off to murder so many.

Faithful to both sides? You mean, you want a movie that shows him as hatefully as western propaganda does? I sure hope that never happens because it’d be a bunch of lies.

Neither of those movies I suggested actually shows Muhammad at all–something done out of respect.

Here’s a beautiful scene from the life of Muhammad (saaws) that’s been turned into a song:

It would be such a pleasure to have you come along with me,
I accept your gracious offer of kindness and company.
But as we walk along young man and as you help me with my load,
I’ve only one request as we travel down this road,

Don’t talk to me about Muhammad.
Because of him there is no peace and I have trouble in my mind,
so don’t talk to me about Muhammad
and as we walk along together we will get along just fine,
and as we walk along together we will get along.

That man upsets me so, and so much more than you could know,
I hear of his name and reputation everywhere I go.
Though his family and his clan once knew him as an honest man,
he’s dividing everyone with his claim that “God is One”

So don’t talk to me about Muhammad.
Because of him there is no peace and I have trouble in my mind,
so don’t talk to me about Muhammad
and as we walk along together we will get along just fine,
and as we walk along together we will get along.

He’s misled all the weak ones and the poor ones and the slaves,
They think they’ve all found wealth and freedom following his ways.
He’s corrupted all the youth with his twisted brand of truth
convinced them they all are strong, given them somewhere to belong.

So don’t talk to me about Muhammad.
Because of him there is no peace and I have trouble in my mind,
so don’t talk to me about Muhammad
and as we walk along together we will get along just fine,
and as we walk along together we will get along.

Thank you now young man, you’ve really been so kind
Your generosity and smile are very rare to find.
Let me give you some advice, since you’ve been so very nice,
From Muhammad stay away, don’t heed his words or emulate his way.

And don’t talk about Muhammad,
or you will never have true peace and trouble is all you will find.
So don’t talk about Muhammad
and as you travel down life’s road you will get along just fine.

Now before we part and go, if it’s alright just the same,
may I ask, my dear young man, who you are? What is your name?

Forgive me - what was that? Your words weren’t very clear,
my ears are getting old - sometimes its difficult to hear.
It is truly rather funny, though I’m sure I must be wrong,
but I thought I heard you said that your name is Muhammad

Muhammad?

Ash haduallah ilaha il Allah wa Ash hadu ana Muhammad ur-Rasulullah.

Oh talk to me Muhammad!
Upon you I pray for peace for you have eased my troubled mind!
Oh talk to me Muhammad
and as we walk along together we will get along just fine,
and as I travel down life’s road I will get along just fine.

It’s a story of an elderly woman who Muhammad (saaws) was helping carry her things. The whole time she was badmouthing him, saying bad things about him, and gives him this advice to stay away from this person called Muhammad, only to find out when she asks him that he is Muhammad who was being so nice and helping her carry her things even while she was badmouthing him. Due to his manners, she became Muslim on the spot. Subhaanallah! 👍

Actually, that’s a pretty story. (Is it a legend or a hadith?)

And how did she know it was Muhammad?

Actually, that’s a pretty story. (Is it a legend or a hadith?)

And how did she know it was Muhammad?
It is neither.

What she did was take the true story of the first person who had a fatwa against her and the first victim of a wish by mohammed to have someone killed who made poems against him. His followers, or thugs, killed her when she was breastfeeding and with her other children.

This website tells about it:
faithfreedom.org/Articles/sina/why_i_am_not_muslim.htm

It is very common for muslims to distort, twist or just down right deceive about their own history. It is a very gruesome history - so I suppose that is why they do it.

You read too much into what I said. Show Muhammed exactly as he was, or at least have it spoken or what ever. I know about the image thing. You can have people talking about him or show his shadow. Whatever to make it cool to Muslims. Personally, I am sick of stories of riots by Muslims over some junk like that.

No, show that he was human. Show him getting angry and sad and happy. Yes, do show him married to a 9 year old, but there is no need to say it was molestation. That was not uncommon in that area at that time.

Even if you think he was the final and greatest prophet, he was not perfect like God.
