Have mercy on them, they are deceived…this does not surprise me in an Islamic country. one good thing though. when i aim my weapon at a driver here in iraq, for coming up too close and too fast, behind my vehicle i dont have to worry about them being a woman. :aok:
I hope you did not get lashed for wearing them if you did.I wasn’t allowed to wear pants to school when I was a kid.And our church didn’t let women come in wearing pants, either, when I was growing up.
What’s wrong with these people?
Are girls allowed to wear pants to Catholic school?I hope you did not get lashed for wearing them if you did.
I know that I’ll get the advice that if you want to be in that place - follow their rule. If one goes to a Catholic school, then follow its rule and discipline. Likewise, if one a Sudanese citizen, well, follow its rule; if not find a place somewhere else.
As a Catholic or for that matter a Christian, I hope you’re not making a comparison between the Church and Sudan’s Sharia law.
We wore them in the late 70’s and 80’sAre girls allowed to wear pants to Catholic school?
The question should be is,“do catholic girls get lashes in school?” Whether or not girls can wear pants in school is not the purpose of this thread. Beating a woman is the subject. Are girls allowed to wear pants to Catholic school?
Oh, Jeez…A Sudanese Muslim woman was lashed publicly with no mercy and total humiliation for just wearing a trousers.

Lashing someone in the above manner doesn’t quite come under the banner of corporal punishment… its simply cold blooded torture and bullying.Wow…Amy dont be so defensive.
Think about it, do you really want to defend corporal punishment for inappropriate garb?
I wasn’t being defensive, but it seems like you are. All I was saying (at first) is that’s its stupid to restrict girls and women from wearing pants. Didn’t say squat about the punishment, much less defend it. Seriously? Boggles the mind.Wow…Amy dont be so defensive.

Did anyone say that the video was about Islam? I didn’t say it. And I didn’t see anyone else say it.You have failed to understand what islam is about.
It is the “middle path”, it is to be relevant to society.
Laws cannot be implemented that are onerous for society.
That video was not about islam really.
I heartily agree, and beg that Allah guide them.Lashing someone in the above manner doesn’t quite come under the banner of corporal punishment… its simply cold blooded torture and bullying.
Shame on those cowards. God have mercy on them!
