I have no clue where to place this, so if its in the wrong thread please relocate.
I have just finished reading “A Philadelphia Catholic In King Jame’s Court” by Martin De Porres Kennedy and it was AWESOME.
Its a fiction novel about a teenage boy from Philadelphia staying with family in a small “bible belt” town in Kentucky who has to defend his Catholic faith using mostly the King James bible to do so.
I have read this book with a high lighter in one hand and the bible in the other and have so enjoyed it that I recommended this book to our parish DRE for the teens to read. The book is Apologetic in nature and for you "city slickers
" a rather good insight as to farm life as well.
If you have teens or like me are a kid at heart, this is a Must read book.
