If they are calling for it, without authority, and from a position of defiant disobedience to the Church’s teachings, how dare they?! And I see no evidence whatsoever that they are calling for the Bishops of the Church to assemble. Rather, they want a gathering of those who are not only outside of the Church’s Magisterium, but of those who oppose it. That makes seeing the call to be for anything near a regional council to be quite contrived and fanciful.

What next. Are they going to call an Ecumenical Council of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, to be made up of those who deny and oppose her teachings?
