I hesitate to post on this since I am pretty sure this group will want to be low-key, but there is a new society (I will call it this as a generic title for now) called the Doloran Fathers, now consisting of two priests, with a third possibly on the way.
maha, and now with the new society, which itself is currently of diocesan right. Fr. Ripperger is a well-known exorcist. The Doloran Fathers seem to focus on spiritual warfare-ish ministry, and I would not be surprised at all if its priests will all train in the area of demonology. It’s kind of clear:
I just thought you might like to know, as they can always use money, and this seems like a very good cause. They already own property for a motherhouse.
It was recently begun by Fr. Ripperger, formerly of the FSSP, then affiliated with the D.On June 26, 2013, our diocesan bishop permitted recognition to SMD as a Private Clerical Association with the intention of making it a Public Clerical Association as soon as feasible; we aim for September 15th, the Feast of the Sorrowful Mother, our Patroness. We are now already however an official Catholic institution. Once a third priest is able to join us, he will move to canonically establish SMD as a Society of Apostolic Life. Please pray that the next priest that Our Lady wills to join us will find his way to us.
Their website is www.dolorans.comThe priests of the nascent Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother, the “Doloran Fathers,” work in cooperation with our local bishop to provide the assistance of the rites and prayers of our Holy Mother, the Church to some of the most spiritually afflicted suffering souls, many unable to find relief or deliverance from their affliction for years. Characterized as semi-contemplative, a good deal of prayer is required of the Doloran priests each day to support their challenging mission.
