a non-Catholic pastor talked about Catholic and Mother of God on Christmas night

How often did you hear during Christmas season especially Christmas night that a pastor spent some time talking about Catholic and Mary as Mother of God issue?

i haven’t heard protestant pastors talk about the catholic church, but i have heard and have spoken about it myself (especially this time of year) Mary as the Mother of God.

I spent several years in various different non-Catholic denominations on Christmas and I never heard anyone talk about any theological differences between the various denomionations. It was always just about Christmas. Some places sang “Mary did you know?” which I think is fairly Catholic in its expressions.

How often did you hear during Christmas season especially Christmas night that a pastor spent some time talking about Catholic and Mary as Mother of God issue?

thanks bengal_fan and b_ustb. The reason I asked this because a friend of ours mentioned about her hearing someone on a non-Catholic radio talked about it on Christmas day. Therefore, I was wondering if this happened outside the radio station.

I am going to say it. Read the post before you react. Christmas is a Catholic Holiday. You got your Baby Jesus being adored, you got your Gloria, you got your Mary in an important place, pointing to Jesus, you got your Joseph. I mean, come on, you got the whole Catholic vibe!! Now those of you who know some history know that the Puritans and some others banned the celebration of Christmas for just that reason. Not saying you can’t have it, too. Not saying that at all. It’s like Bengal said, discussing Mary as Mother of God is easy right now.
