i understand the reason a lot why alot of people hate Mulisms/Islams

yes,they are ignorant and lazy(they do not bother to find actual fact about islam but hear what others say and follow it blindly).But thanks God not all are like that…the pretty priest(hehe) up there is a good example

i noticed actually that the priests of oficial protestant churches tend to have the best relations to muslims…we have a mosque here right next to a protestant church and they have perfect relations with eachother ,they visit us during eid and muslims visit during christmas.So i know very well that not all christians feel the same about islam,

You’re right in saying that people who hate Muslims are ignorant and lazy. However, I’ve always believed that when people say that Muslims don’t agree that we should love everyone is just a stereotype. I have recently been on an Islam forum and expecting to have a positive experience, but they insult Christianity on the basis that it teaches to love enemies. They found the thought that God doesn’t hate to be insulting and posts regarding this were very offensive.

I have had no positive experience when trying to confirm that the stereotypes are wrong and as I said in another post, I am left with a sunken feeling .

What are your opinions of this? Do you believe that this is a stereotype?

Thyme,i also have had many bad experiences from christians on the net,i would say around 70% have been negative.We have to know that internet is different from the real world…people tend to overreact and say things they never would say live…its enough to start a litle argument.Then there are different kinds of forums…they gather different kinds of people,you should not judge the whole religion because of a forum…if you want to know what islam actually teaches then you have to ask a learned one,there are many sites where you can ask questions and an islamic scholar will answer you

My boyfriend is a Muslim and he is nothing like the people I have learned from on those forums, but I assumed that this is because he has grown up in a western society.

Unfortunately I heard the news about the Afghanistan people protesting the burning of Quran (which did not happen), and cost the life of some. You are indeed correct. One can burn the book of Quran, but it does not mean he/she has burned the Quran. At least it cost the burner several dollars in which he/she could have buy something for lunch instead.

Two way street. The Blasphemy that goes on throughout the internet by Islam against Christology is very very widespead. Just view “You Tube”. Its such a two way street of Blasphemey on both religions I believe its straight from satan.

Originally I thought wrongly that all the Christology hate was coming from Islam.

I see things very different today. Granted there are “children” and uneducated young adults of both Islam and Christology who promote hate through learned behavior. And then there are extreme zealots of both faiths

Yet I see the real problem coming from those in the middle. Those who chose to believe in nothing more than the monetary gain they can accomplish, and sexual conquests they can fulfill in this short life. At any rate these troubled souls would love to destroy “all” faith and somehow view it [faith] as the problem. This,I believe is of most concern.

I understand your words, but there are MANY great people of Islamic faith from the east.

Recently an Islamic family from Turkey moved next door to me. They are very nice people and friendly. Listen it doesn’t even make sense to roll all of Islam or Christology is one need package that makes all the same violent, racist, hate filled religious zealots. Thats just not reality.

Are are good and bad of all faiths, thats just the simple truth.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. It was predicted though, of what will happen to those without faith:
