A pet called "Vatican"?

Would it be seen disrespectful to call oneā€™s pet ā€œVaticanā€ ? :o

Personally, I have an issue with it. Then again I have an issue with people who call their daughter Trinity
 
There are worse names. Especially misspelled ones.
Why do you like Vatican as a name, btw? Just curious.
 
If itā€™s a cat, how about Vaticat? That might work for our nameless kitty, since weā€™ve always called our cats Catlicks. šŸ˜ƒ

Vaticat sounds like a character in a Catholic vbs programā€¦ I like it. And I donā€™t like cats.
 
It should be a toucan. Vatoucan.

Trinity is an old Baptismal name for people born on the feast of the Holy Trinity. Itā€™s like naming a Christmas baby Noel or Emmanuel.
 
Probably no worse than a German Shepherd named ā€œBenedictā€.šŸ˜ƒ

I guess I just donā€™t understand your objection. I think itā€™s a lovely name.
 
Me too. Itā€™s a beautiful name. As good as any Saint name IMHO.

Itā€™s a pretty common Spanish nameā€“Trinidadā€“for men. I have yet to meet one who has a problem being called ā€œTriniā€.
