A Pet Peeve

My pet peeve is Catholic Bloggers who make commentators jump through all the hoops of all the new social media gadgets to post. Do they think they get the best comments that way or what. Many of us don’t wish to " sign up " on these formats just to post. It seems to me that if you " prove you are human, " that should be sufficient. I refuse to do anything more, no matter how popular or imortant the Blogger may think they are. What do you think.

I tend to agree, but there is a “but”. This is just speculation, but I think it hepls to weed out the trolls from posting. I happen to have a blog, but it’s not very active (meaning I don’t post often and I have all of 2 followers 😛 ). Since it doesn’t attract alot of attention, I leave it open for ANYONE to post a comment within the first 2 weeks of an article. After that, anyone can still post, but each post has to approved, by yours truly, before it appears in the comboxes.
 
This ^^^^^, especially when discussing the biggest two uh-ohs, politics with religion, or ANYTHING in an election year.
