Aside from your barrage of random bible verses there, what exactly is your point? You’re just illustrating the old Muslim double-standard that everyone else’s faults reflect on them, but Muslims’ faults must all be overlooked.

How many times have we seen Muslims on here telling everyone to judge their religion by what it teaches rather than what its members do? Yet you can’t hold everyone else to the same standard.

You are right about this. When you learn something in islam you dont know, then you look in the Quran and Sunah and if it fit you consider that right and if it is not you refuse it…thats the way you analise everithing what is served to you from media ,from religon concepts ,peoples belivings …if there is a proof in the Islam that women should be educated then we all have the responsibility to make this work,if a women should be devided from men than will try do it too …but not like you judje acording the muslim tradition ,not acording Islam…and the concept which put women in Bible its not the same as in Quran …if you folow that than you women would be unejucated ,simpel tool in hand of a man.Luckely for women you dont folow bible words, lately.

Do you have a point? You’re still just throwing out platitudes and insults without anything to back them up.

I’m sorry to break it up to you, but your religion fails on both aspects.

Nice poem,

Some guy gets scared to death by an angel and goes to hell because he was a scuzz ball. The moral of this story… be good because God is scary and mean and dont sin or you will die and burn in hell. If your realy bad an angel will come and torment you just before you die. The worse part of all is that the angel said it was too late for tears. Does God say that to us before we die?
There is no time for you to repent,

I’ll take your soul for which I am sent.
-D

That is a sad, cold poem. Our God always forgives if you sincerely repent, because he loves us and wants us to be in heaven with Him. This seems to say that God condemns and there is no room for forgiveness, i suppose this is the difference between the Catholic understanding of a loving Father, and the Mulsim view of God which is cold, and distant, and rather haughty. 😦

Without even finishing your oh so charitable post  I must correct you on your referring to the scandle as a pedophilia scandle. That is not correct as 80% of the victims were teenage and older. These crimes were perpetrated by gay priests. In my opinion, and many others, the priesthood bacame corrupt when the Church began to change with the times, (Vatican II–and no I am not a sedevancetist). The evil culture seeped in to an institution that has stood as a rock for 2,000 years. I could go on, but there is much to it and can be discussed on another forum.

[/QUOTE]

Absolutely, my friend. You are arguing a moot point. If everyone of this earth was sinning it wouldn’t take away the fact that Catholicism is the TRUTH. Christ picked an apostle who betrayed him(Judas), why do you think he did that? What is even more amazing is that in 2,000 years those corrupt popes never wavered from teaching the consistent dogmas of the Church–think about that, it is one of the reasons the Church has stood the test of time–it is right there in history for you to read and ponder. What also has happened in times of corruption and heresy, (which by the way, it is believed the Mohammadism is one of greates Catholic heresies in history–I don’t mean this as an attack it is just what we believe)–anyway, we have had some of the greates Saints who rise up to restore the Church, in times of trouble.
By the way, the anger you display in your posts, would not lead me to be a Muslim. If you want to convert people, I don’t think being angry and forceful, like telling us to convert or else, will work. 🙂

Some non-Muslims allege that God in Islam is a stern and cruel God who demands to be obeyed fully. He is not loving and kind. Nothing can be farther from truth than this allegation. It is enough to know that, with the exception of one, each of the 114 chapters of the Quran begins with the verse: “In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.” In one of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) we are told that “God is more loving and kinder than a mother to her dear child.”
But how many times in the Quaran is the word “love”, expecially when it refers to the relationship between Allah and mankind, with Allah TO his believers?

Sometimes, that’s how i feel too! This is a true story. There’s a western compound in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia which sits about 150 meters way from a mosque. Every morning, I mean, morning, the mosque has the speaker for call to pray on to the maximum volume. Everyone on that compound feels annoyed by that speaker. They’re feeling it like the Saudis are pushing their belief down their throat. If they are more considerate, they possibly have some converts. The Saudis do that on purpose because they know there’s infidels in that compound. It is just pissed people off. I have slept in that compound couple times so I know.

No,there is still time to repent until you can say the words:La ilahe ilalah muhamedu resululah

How long do the church bell normally toll? Have you ever lived next to a mosque in Saudi Arabia? This is a mosque that has the volume onto the max just to annoy the infidels who live next to it. The call would go on and on.

You sound like jews did when Jesus came, they too thought Jesus was a lier .When Muhammed came and called cristiants and jews to unite and worship One God only you turned around and rejected the TRUTH.

I am here on this forum not to argue with you ,my mission is to call you on the faith Adam and Abraham and Jacob and Noe and all the prophets were…if you rather want your religion there is no compulsion in religion…its your choice…you know if there is only one life, you should try your best to live it properly,to find the truth and to deserve the God mercy,if its hard for you to understand Islam then its much better way to pray God to show you the path of the true belivers.Maybe youll regret this words some day,so be carefull.
Peace and justice my friend

**No I have never lived nex to a Mosque in Saudia Arabia but i have lived next to one in Lahore, Pakistan (they also blasted the call to prayer)…what is your point? **

Timur,
Speaking of pedophilia, how old was Mohammed’s youngest wife when they were married? Seems that I heard she was under 10 years old.

Karin,
If the ringing Church bells annoy you take the issue up with the Church and if they won’t change go to you city council. I lived next to a Protestant Church that rang their bells at 6 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. every day including Saturday and Sunday for about 15 minutes. I talked to them and they were unwilling to change so I talked to my alderman who talked to them and convinced them to only ring them at noon for about 5 minutes. She told them if they did not willingly change she would introduce an ordinance to force them to change. Try getting a Muslim country to force a mosque to change their call to prayer, it won’t happen.

Howdy Lance;
Well first I do not live next to a Church (I was using that as an example). But I am sure that if I did and it bothered me I would problably follow the route that you suggested. As to your last sentence…

You hit it on the head it is a Muslim Country why should they change theor calls to prayer? As I recall they also prayer (mandatory) five times per day and the call goes out all five times…to change the call to prayer would change part of their religious structure!!!
