I dont see how the little Islamic pledge of allegance applies to repentance but hey … whatever. I think he is saying that I should turn to Islam and away from my evil Christianity. Would you endorse a current marriage in Islam by one of your spiritual leaders today if these reasons were given? Say the same claim was made now, would it be excepted, or would the guy be on the sex offender registry?
Was this a sort of one time exception made for the prophet Muhammed in Islam? Did an angel of God tell Muhammad that he should wed this kid?

So to call Prophet Muhammad a pedophile for marrying a girl that was OFFERED TO HIM by her parents and was accepted by all of the people back then including the enemies of Islam, the pagans, is quite absurd.

When I read Deuteronomy 22:13-18 in the Bible I nearly lost my mind! I was in great shock! The Bible matched exactly what I heard about when I was young.

Also, in Exodus 21:7-11 as further elaborated on below, girls were sold off as slave girls by their own fathers to other men. So most certainly, no one is qualified to call the Prophet of Islam a pedophile!

Even though GOD Almighty’s share of the 32 virgin girls is metaphoric, meaning that He didn’t come down and have sex with them, but if any wants to call Prophet Muhammad a pedophile or womanizer for marrying (his best friend’s daughter with both her parents’ approval) a young girl and marrying multiple women throughout his life, then he should not only call his Biblical Prophets as such, but also the GOD of Israel Himself!
Also today, the Jewish law for marriage sets the age of consent for females at 11. (Consent is only one way of marriage) I do not know if modern Jewish law still allows (in theory) betrothal by intercourse as it was practiced in ancient times.

You did not answer my question. The question is once again. If a spiritual leader made this claim right now would you endorse it in the year 2005? If a spiritual leader said an angel had spoken to him right now in the year 2005 would you endorse it?
On another note,
I fully acknowledge that sick things happened in the old testament. Jesus certainly had his issues with the scribes and pharisees. Can you list any attrocities performed by Christ? It is he I follow… not Moses or the law.

Why now i i said to youPeople used to have very short life-spans in Arabia. They used to live between 40 to 60 years maximum. So it was only normal and natural for girls to be married off at ages 9 or 10 or similar.

Ok,
So this means that the ancient practice of wedding children has fallen by the wayside. Yet when I ask why people are still stoned to death for udultery I am told it is because this is the punishment listed off in the Koran. Why do you embrace not wedding to children because it is an ancient barbaric thing yet cutting off limbs and stoning are still correct in Gods eyes and practiced?
Is this not a contradiction? By the standards of Islamic law you should still get married to children.

I do follow the whole bible, especialy the part in which Christ stated that he was the fulfilment of the law. The new covenant is just that ‘new’ for example we now practice mercy because Jesus said “let he among you who is without sin cast the first stone”.
God instructions are clear, that is unless you refuse to believe he loved us enough to take our sins upon himself like a loving father would.
