To coin a term, why don’t we just call these people “Contemporary Catholics”

But I’ve always thought it was a good term. I’m not sure how folks feel about it.

I usally avoid that term as it tends to be grouped in with certain Protestant/Contemporary Christian rock movements which spring up every now and then, but I suppose it works better : P

I don’t see how it is offensive. We follow what the Church allows today. And thats what contemporary means, being in the now.

The thread violates forum rules. The two forms of the mass many not be pitted against each other.

The forum exists to discuss questions and subjects related to Catholic Tradition in a way that is consistent with the teachings and laws of the Catholic Church.

It is not the purpose of this forum to pass judgment on what the Church allows.
