I have the EWTN mass on and it just hit me how far the Lord has brought me.

I remember the days when I used to watch the mass and wonder what it was like to receive the Eucharist.

And suddenly I feel myself tearing up.

Thank you Lord for bringing me home to your Church and bringing me to the fullness you want for all of us.

Please don’t ever let me take it for granted.

Never permit me to be separated from you.

Amen.

Greetings TrueLight,

I will Amen on that. May your zeal always be lit and never die out for the Church nor the God that the Church worships.

God Bless.

I forgot I had started this thread.

I woke up this morning thinking of where I was spiritually, last Thanksgiving.

You see, when you attend a liberal church that never preaches about sin and where everything is “you’re okay, I’m okay”, it is so easy to get involved in all sorts of sin as long as you’re a “good person”.

Thank you Lord for remembering me, a sinner and giving me the grace to seek your face.

Greetings TrueLight,

I had forgotten about this thread until it showed that it had been updated in my subscribed threads.

I remember where I was last Thanksgiving and it was not pretty. I am so glad that God has worked with me this year. I have much to give thanks for this Thanksgiving.

Your post got me to thinking of what has happened in one year. And it has been good. I wonder where we will be next year. 😃 Happy Thanksgiving.

God Bless.
