My God, I pray that You will fill my heart with love and focus my mind on the Birth of Your Son. I ask that You help me to have charity for those in material and physical need, and give solace to those in spiritual despair.
Help me to love my neighbor as myself.
Help me to remember Joseph, the Foster Father of Jesus, that I may draw strength from his example of complete and total trust in You. Let me remember Mary Mother of God, who through her love and obedience to Your Will cooperated in the salvation of the whole world. Grant that my faith be renewed at this Holy time, when a Child was born, and a promise was kept so that we may see Thy Face O, Lord.
I thank You for this Gift, this most Holy of Sacrifices, that You would send Your only Son for the saint and the greatest of sinners.
Keep my loved ones close to You and protect them from the temptations of the world. I pray for those who have died that they may be with You in Heaven, and for the poor souls in Purgatory, that they may soon end their suffering and find eternal peace in the light of Your Face.
I ask that you change the heart of the world that has no place for children, so that every child will be cherrished as a Gift, rather than cast aside as a burden. I pray for the souls of the unborn who have been sacrificed in the name of choice, and for the mothers of these little ones, that they may come to know your Love and Mercy.
I most especially pray that all Your children would find their way home to the fullness of Truth that is our Holy Mother Church. Guide and protect her leaders, that they may be filled with the Holy Spirit, and lead those in their care to Truth and Salvation.
