A prayer at the 3 o'clock hour, let's offer something up to the Divine Mercy of Jesus

Dear Lord, Jesus Christ we thank you for all you have blessed us with-- including what we see as impossible obstacles or problems- knowing You will use those to bring about a greater good beyond what we can comprehend.

Dear Lord please help @Careyep, Give them strength of body, mind and spirit to overcome their dependence of pills. Please have mercy on them. Please, if it is within Your will, grant them a miracle and simply release them from this hold mentally and physically. If not, please Lord, surround them with your angels and fight this fight for them. You alone know what caused this addiction and dependence. Heal their heart and mind and body. Fill them with your grace. Remove their anxieties and please take away any physical or psychological withdraws they might have and replace and fill those with Your grace, love, health and anything they need that You would bless them with. Hold them on this journey. Please we ask that you make this particular journey short and let it end with an abundance of health for them and the glorification of You and Your power and Your love. We ask you to help all those struggling with addictions. We thank You in advance for answering our prayer. We love you. In Jesus name,

In His revelations to St. Faustina, Our Lord asked for a special prayer and meditation on His Passion each afternoon at the three o’clock hour, the hour that recalls His death on the cross.

Posting may be late due to a new work schedule but the prayer was on time

why only a decade?

I try to pray the divine mercy chaplet each day and include the first couple of decades for random prayer requests and the rest of the chaplet for the needs of family, friends, clergy, etc. sometimes I pray more than 5 decades. On a rare occasion, I will pray more than one chaplet.

God bless all who read this and pray with me for those whom I pray …and God bless those just visiting the thread.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

I prayed the Divine Mercy around the 11pm o’clock hour for; @Bix , @upant , @Irishmom2 , @(name removed by moderator) , @Careyep , @Katie777 , @Katherine438 , and also a decade for the souls in purgatory who have no one to pray for them, those on earth who have no one to pray for them as well, This Holy Catholic Church, those who work on Christmas, those in most need of thy mercy, and also for close friends, family, enemies, and those I know.

For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
