Thursday’s 3 o’clock Prayer
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
Have mercy on all those suffering due to covid 19 and on the whole world.
Eternal God in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion is inexhaustible have mercy on us and on the whole world. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Amen.
Jesus, I trust in You

Why at 3 o’clock?
why only a decade?
I try to pray the divine mercy chaplet each day and include the first couple of decades for random prayer requests and the rest of the chaplet for the needs of family, friends, clergy, etc. sometimes I pray more than 5 decades. On a rare occasion, I will pray more-than-one chaplet.
God bless all who read this and pray with me for those whom I pray …and God bless those just visiting the thread.

Today I prayed 1 decade of the Chaplet and listened to the reading of The Passion on television. Remembered all health care workers and people suffering and dying with COVID19 at that time, especially Jim.
