Hello Everyone:
For a long time, I have wanted to have a prayer partner with whom to share prayerful intentions… someone whom I can know, and who would know me, and so could pray with a greater sense of understanding as per our needs… So I ask (specifically St Raphael - patron Saint of Happy Meetings) that those who are seeking prayer partners find them…
I am open to hearing all responses, but one caveat for hearts who graciously respond… please know in advance it seems personal prayer partners (unlike general prayer partners) are kind of special and unique finds, like friends, so I understand this prayer might not always be positively answered as per our personal, individual intentions… Such a partner I have yet to find, so I just know to keep looking…
That said, I hope this makes sense an doesnt sound like a “personals ad”… The stuff I cover in prayer is sometimes very divided in struggles… I’m working on my CPA, so it stems into business areas, which require a special understanding and professionalism of a balance between faith and finances… I’d be a Priest, if I could use my talents for the church, but I dont think that is going to happen - so I find it saddening… As an individual, I’ve a disability, and I am a lonely soul without a wife, so it stems into other areas of love… So - all in all - I just wish I could sometimes vent it, forget myself, and pray for someone else… who I know would be trustworthy enough to pray for me as well…
I guess this would be something like an accountability partner, although I dont know for sure of what exactly an accountability partner is… They seem to be a Protestant tradition, whereas we have Priests at confession… But, anyway, I guess the general idea of an accountability partner would be probably similar to what I mean by a Prayer Partner…
If this general post comes up dry, then maybe someone could suggest some additional resources (e.g. groups here on Catholic.com?) to aiding in the search…
Anyway…
