A Prayer for Jack

Hello,

Of your charity, please pray for my Father in Law Jack, who is poorly and in hospital at the moment. He’s a sweet and witty man with many health problems. He’ll be 82 years young on his next birthday, please God.

He’s never down, despite his poor health and is a truly beautiful Catholic man, in the strongest, most silent and understated way possible. He’d be shocked if he knew people were praying for him, but we won’t tell him; we’ll just let God’s grace wrap around him and keep him safe. 😉

Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Jack with eyes of mercy. May your healing hand rest upon him, may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

Prayers for Jack for recovery from many health problems. He sounds ilke a wonderful man and may he blessed abundantly with better health and be surrounded by those who love and support him.

I am praying, and I will keep at it. Your description of him is very beautiful.
He actually sounds a lot like my grandfather, who was also named Jack!

I pray that Jack remain strong in faith and love, and be embraced with the love of our Blessed Mother Mary. God willing, please Virgin Mary, help Jack recover from his ailments and live to celebrate another birthday with his family. Also, give his family the strength, faith and perseverance to be there for their father, be strong for one another and to accept God’s Divine Plan for Jack. Amen.
