A prayer for Mexico

Please pray for Mexico.

The country is in turmoil. What we’re seeing coming in on the newswires is pretty bad, but I’ve heard from friends and family that the reality is worse. Not all the tragedies are being covered by the news–many do not report crimes to the authorities for fear of retribution.

Please pray for peace… and for justice.

Lord help us all.

For peace in Mexico, may there be justice and stability, and safety for our brothers and sisters.

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.

mexico has needed prayer for a long time. still many people do not care about mexico or her citizens.

if our neighbor to the south collapses, what happens then?

innocent people there face danger everyday and especially law enforcement who are trying to clean up the crime from the drug cartels.

we share our continent with mexico and need to keep this country in prayer.

Loving God,

We pray that the peace and justice your son Jesus died to bring to our world will be showered upon the country of Mexico that is currently undergoing so much turmoil, experiencing so much loss of life, and having a crisis of faith. Please raise up good, strong, faithful, and courageous leaders to lead this country towards the peace and harmony you desire for all your people, O Lord. Please protect all the innocent people and grant mercy to the families of those who have died. Please hear the prayers of your people and help all to understand your Holy and perfect will and how you need each person to help in this situation, through prayer, acts of mercy, or direct involvement.

I am definitely praying for Mexico. It is a beautiful country I would love to visit. At this point I would not feel safe. I read an interesting blog of an American woman who lives there now called “What Am I Doing In Mexico”. I praying for Mexico and all of it’s residents.
