A prayer for the 3,000,000+ prisoners

Hi all,

My name is “whatisthetruth” and I am a Christian.

Before I offer my prayer and why I believe there is the need for my prayer, I want to first offer you my appreciation.

Without all of your loving care and feedback from the threads in which I posted and/or the treads I read without posting, with a little “spice” added, I could not have realized the reason as to why God has called me here.

Having said that, I want to thank **each and every one of you **for the tremendous impact you had on my life and the prayers you have said for me. I can assure you that you are all in my prayers.

My experience here has been nothing short of wonderful to say the least. Thank you all for making me feel welcomed here.

May God all abundantly.

As I stated above, I realized the reason God called me.

For starters is to let you know that, we who represent the
30,000+ Christian denominations/churches are on Jesus’ side too.
We may have differences on how we worship Jesus, but the fact is,

all of us Christians worship JESUS

My Christian brother and sisters, I invite you for a moment to put our differences aside and to focus on just God and what I believe is the need for my prayer.

I believe we who represent the 30,000+ Christian denominations/churches, like the Catholic community, realize there are 3,000,000+ prisoners of the world who are in Satan’s grasp grasp who do not know and/or worship Jesus.

My heart bleeds because I realize that some of those prisoners are loved ones of your family and friends who have not only abandoned God’s church but abandoned God entirely.

I believe we all share the same mission and that is to do whatever it takes, in Jesus’ name, so He can set the prisoners free.

Amen??

As Jesus said,

And they shall know the truth, and the truth shall set them free. John 8:31-32

I can not do the work alone. I do not believe any human can.
After reading the bible, I changed the “I’s” to “we’s” in Phillipians 4:13 and read,

(we) can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth (us).

I believe in my heart of hearts, in Jesus’ name, we
30,000+ Christian denominations/churches and Catholics join “hands” and accomplish the mission.

In order to reach that goal I offer a prayer that God may gives us the strength to put aside our differences and let His love cover all of us and let us see each other for who we truely are in His eyes not our minds’ eyes.(I am talking to my self too)
I believe Satan will do anything in his power to prevent his prisoners from finding out the true love of God

Friends I love the movie Lion King 2 and in the closing scene

as Simba and Zira were just about to fight it out, Kiara and Kovu jump between them and Kiara stands up to her father and says,

“Daddy, this has to stop”

A wise King once told me, “We are one.” I didn’t understand what he meant… now I do

Them… us. Look at them… they are us. What differences do you see? Aren’t we all part of the Circle of Life?

On super bowl Sunday after the battle, the people at the stadium and I hope the world witnesses Christians, from both teams, join in a “Circle of Life” on the field in prayer for the battle which still has yet to be won.

I realize why God called me here and that is to offer you to join me in prayer, for the tremendous need at hand, to set our prisoners free.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Dear Lord, we want to thank you for your love which you have for each and every one of your children. There may be times in our life when we do not feel deserving of your love, but it is by your mercy you see us for who we will be in your name and not the sin by which we say, “Lord, I am not worthy to receive you”.
We thank you God for your word, your saving grace in which we are healed.

Lord, I thank you for leading me to this community where I have discovered a new world of caring and loving Christians such as myself who I believe have the same passion as I do and that is to bring home the lost souls of the world who do not know you.

I pray dear Jesus, that you “birth” in us the fruits of your spirit,

the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control Galatians 5:21-23

so that we, as your whole Christian family, can better understand each other in that, even though our Christian churches may be different, they are the same in that you, JESUS, are the center focus of all our lives.

We pray that your true love will shine through all of us Christians so that we can make an impact on the prisoners of the world who are in Satan’s grasp.

Lead all of us, Father God, out to the nations, armed with the “Armour of God” and the “Fruits of the Spirit” to be a fighting force as ONE, in Jesus name.

We pray that our captive brothers and sisters will see your love through us, and will also find the saving grace which is only found in the blood of your son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Having done so, we will then witness before our eyes a miraculous revival like we never seen before. Hundreds and thousands of people, including family and friends of Your children whose desire is for them to come home and to know You and the love You have for them.

For Your word says,

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John3:16

Dear God, it is by Your love in which we believe all we pray is possible. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever, in Jesus name we pray,

I, not only anticipate a huge revival of trapped prisoners being saved and set free, but a huge understanding between all Christian communities so that we can be God’s magnet and bring them home to honor Jesus and not Satan. Praise God
