I live alone, dear Lord, stay by my side.
In all my daily needs, be Thou my guide.
Grant me good health, for that I pray,
To carry on my work from day to day.
Keep pure my thoughts, my every deed.
Let me be kind and unselfish in my neighbor’s needs.
Spare me from fire, from floods, malicious tongues.
From thieves, from fear and evil ones.
If sickness or an accident befall me,
Then humbly, Lord, I pray, hear Thou my call.
And when I am feeling low or in despair,
Lift up my heart and help me in my prayer.
I live alone, dear Lord, yet have no fear
Because I feel Your presence ever near.

Praying for you and all those who live alone. May God bless you always. :gopray:

That is a nice prayer. I will say a prayer for those who live alone like yourself.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

I pray that the Lord keep you at the palm of His hands and send an angel to watch over you.

A PRAYER FOR LEARNING TO BE ALONE

Gracious God, help me learn to be graciously and contentedly alone without being bowed down with the loneliness that bites at and constricts my heart. Let the light of your presence lead me on the path where I am able to see and know those things that cannot be seen and known while in the company of others. Let my alone-ness be the space of preparation that makes me more truly present to the world of humanity around me. I ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.

That’s beautiful. Thank you for posting this prayer. I’m going to copy it for myself. I received the one I posted here originally from the Franciscan Mission Associates.
