I live alone, Dear Lord.
Stay by my side.
In all my daily needs,
Be Thou my guide.
Grant me good health,
For that, indeed, I pray
To carry on my work
From day to day.
Keep pure my mind,
My thoughts, my every deed,
Let me be kind, unselfish,
In my neighbor’s need.
If sickness or an accident befall,
The humbly, Lord, I pray,
Hear Thou my call.
And when I’m feeling low
Or in despair,
Lift up my heart
And help me in my prayer.

Yet have no fear,
Because I feel Your presence
Ever near.

I don’t live alone, but experience loneliness during the single years often sporadically, yet the Lord is my sheltering place to call home… He is the way, the truth, & the life. Yet sometimes I just wonder how long of a cross will this last… how long of a process will it take to move out & live on my own… alone… Oh how much I’d rather move forward in life with living alone… there is such beauty within such a freeing gift to have. So I await by preparing for that day, when my prayer is answered, to simply live alone & see what else the Lord has in store.

^All who live alone, count your blessings… it is an optimistic gift I believe for people to enjoy… some meant for a lifetime while others meant for a short time to embrace. Life is short. Make like-minded friends perhaps from these forums or wherever else. Live life to its fullest. 🙂
