A prayer intention for perseverance needed

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

This is my last week of my move. Please pray for my son who will be loading my stuff and driving it up to the town he lives.

Not only am I moving in the middle of a pandemic, but we also have excessive
heat warnings this week. Hopefully, he can pack the stuff early in the morning and
be put of here by 10am or 11am. I will be in town for a few more days to see cleaning is done and take care of a few other things before I go up there.and

This has just been awful and slow. I just don’t have the energy I used to have.
I can’t organize as well.

I still have a little bit more packing to do - last minute stuff.

I will be so happy when Sunday is here and I should be finished and out of here.

The rest of the week beginning tomorrow will be rough.

My son drove down Tuesday night and packed up what I had for him to load in his
pick up. He left that same night arriving about 1:30am. Thanks be to God he had a safe journey!!!

I still have a big day tomorrow returning the cable company’s equipment, taking
donations to Goodwill, wiping down the shelves in the cupboards and cupboard
doors and cleaning the refrigerator. Then I have to pack everything left in the
condo in my car and have it ready for the cleaners on Friday. I still have 3
long days left and a 2 1/2 hour drive up through windy mountain interstate
on Saturday to my son’s home.

The excessve heat warning is supposed to last through the weekend.
It is extremely hot. I can usually handle 110, but an excessive heat at 110 or
111 is almost unbearable.

Please also pray I don’t get covid-19 staying at the hotel. Can you believe they
do not even have hand sanitizer in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel??!!
This is not a cheap hotel. Hardly anyone staying here. The parking lot almost
empty. The clientele is not the usual clientele of families and businessmen.
Lots of men with tattoos that look like they might be from shelters or halfway
houses so the city or state might be putting people up in hotels during the
pandemic. The world is such a different place now.

Tomorrow the cleaning people come. I have a few last minute details to do before they arrive. Hopefully, by tomorrow night, this ordeal will
be over. I definitely know I don’t have enough room in my car for everything!!
I need an SUV and not a little Honda.
 
Thank you Father for this life and all of its joys as well as trials and pains! There is a reason why suffering happens, though Job couldn’t see it at first, and neither can I. But, I do know that we are meant to come to You with all of our ills and joys, and that You would share in all of them with us. Even St. Theresa of Calcutta (Mother Theresa) whose life blessed so many carried the great hidden inner pain of having lost Your closeness! Yet, You touched her once and that carried her!

Hear, Lord, Your suffering servant’s prayer to find her way through this malady of a lifetime and recent challenges. Walk with her Lord, and may it be for Your glory that she find relief. Thank you for my mental and physical pain that makes me call upon You for aid, and brings me to also to share the joys of prayers answered — for discovery of acupuncture relief of my symptoms — and for we who pray for each other in Your Body of Believers, persevering in patient faith for Your actions in our lives.

Please, dear Jesus, send more of Your followers to aid this one in her ills and may she find peace and joy in the love You have for her and we, who also entreat Your assistance for each other. Amen.

My daughter-in-law is helping me and bringing some of my stuff Sunday since she has to bring the kids up. God bless her!!

So tomorrow I will be driving up.

Asking for prayers for a safe journey.
