Thank you, O Blessed Lord, for granting me the graces necessary to pass my Civil Service Police exam. Far be it from me to pass the test, or do anything for that matter, apart from You.

I beg You, my Father, to hold me close to You and to protect me every day if I become a police officer.

Keep me from the smallest sin against You, I pray.

I am in desperate need of God, of His forgiveness, of His love, and I need to abandon my pride, admit my need, and throw myself at the foot of the Cross to receive mercy and forgiveness. And I must stay there.
