Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Prayer for Enemies

God you have taught us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us and pray for those who persecute us. I pray that with your love and the example of your own prayer on the cross I can learn to forgive my enemies. Help me remember that I hope my transgressions will be forgiven by you and to use this to show me how I can forgive.

I pray dear Lord that you will protect my enemies and bless them. I pray that you will break down every stronghold against your presence in this person’s life and that you will thwart every evil plan that Satan has for them and you will stop every lie that Satan would put in their mind.

God I ask that you send the Holy Spirit to visit my enemy and instill in them a spirit of repentance and reconciliation. Help my enemy to take the steps to make right their transgressions. I ask that you heal the hurt that they have caused me so that whatever happens, it will be resolved, and will not become a lasting resentment.
