A prayer to keep my job

I’m afraid of losing my job because of the economy and because I have made quite a few mistakes at work lately. Please ask God to protect me on the road and that nothing else will happen that will jeopardize my employment. This is the first job I’ve ever had that I haven’t gotten let go from.

Have faith in God, for all things end well for those who have faith in HIM.

Let us pray:

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Therefore, Lord Jesus Christ, before thy mercy throne kneels Johann and myself this afternoon. Our prayer is that thy will be done in his life. Take away the fear that paralyses him as he holds on to his current job. Lord Jesus, replace that with confidence and trust and hope in your love for him, for Jesus, we know that for as long as we have become partakers in your supper, we will never go hungry, neither, us nor our loved ones will you forsake. We implore you to come to his aid, Protect him and his job, be it this current one, or another one that you are preparing for him. May it come to fruition, let him see your glory, as you reveal to all those who trust in your divine mercy. Even as we pray, set your word rolling, visit him and his own. In all things, Lord Jesus, may your will be done. Unto you be glory for ever and ever Amen.

Johann, have faith, I will continue to pray for you, never fear to approach Jesus whenever you have difficulties, it is very easy, and very effective, just go on your kneels and say whatever you feel in your heart, trust that he is listening, because HE IS!! and let go of your fears for he has taken it off you.

Please Loed, see Johann’s anxiety and take pity. Please help the employers to be indulgent about the mistakes, and help Joann to avoid any more mistakes.

When I was fired from a job it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I filed
for unemployment and found a job that I loved that lasted for thirty years!

I will pray that God will direct you to whatever is what He thinks is best for you. Maybe
He wants you to stay where you are, maybe not.

Whatever happens, with God’s help, I PROMISE you from the bottom of my heart that
you can handle it!

Please have confidence that WITH or WITHOUT that job you are a very special person with very valuable gifts to contribute to this world.

Lord please help all who are in fear of losing their jobs and losing necessary income for their families Amen

Prayer to St. Joseph for Employment

Dear St. Joseph,
You faced the responsibility of providing for
Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly
compassion upon Johann, who fears he may
lose his job because of layoffs. Please help
him keep his job during this difficult time. In the
meantime, help Johann’s former colleagues find
gainful employment very soon.

Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
