You specifically said, “real weirdo” I thought in reference to me. You have never heard of mystics? Like St. John of the Cross, St. Theresa of Avila? St. John wrote, “The Dark Night of the Soul” and other works that are classics. And these mystics were Catholics. Don’t take this the wrong way, but what is your age? I’m wondering if you just haven’t had the opportunity to hear about them or if you just ignored them.Well, I myself have been called a Jackass by one here whom I won’t mention, I am not calling you names, honestly, I never heard of a “Christian Mystic”. Is this something you made up? I just think it’s weird that’s all…didn’t say you were weird…
And why would it be a discgrace to Christianityto say something is weird??
LOL, I didn’t make up the term, Christian Mystic. I wouldn’t give myself that much credit. Mysticism is very old and exists in all religions. There is mystical Christianity, mystical Islam, mystical Buddhism, etc. The foundation of which is to directly experience the divine or truth, regardless of dogma leading you there.
It shouldn’t be too hard to search online for Christian mystics. It’s actually a pretty well-known subject.

Love the priests, they are the umbilical cord to God.
