Dearest brothers and sisters/friends,

Padre David Thexeira was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, 13th December 2007 at 2340hrs.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
The family humbly requests for everyone’s continued prayers for Padre David’s soul and for comfort and peace to be upon the family.

Ps: btw, he’s the 6th priest passed away in 2007 and there’s no ordination at all this year. A tough year for Singapore diocese.

Merciful Lord of all, You conceived of your servant from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine plan. You watched with great love as he celebrated the Sacraments, as he lead souls to You, and as his faith was a light to those around him. Now that You have called him home, may the intercession of Your Blessed Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, reach Your ears; may Christ’s gentle persuasion cause any time Your servant may spend in purgatory to be mercifully shortened; that he may soon join with the choirs of angels who praise Your Holy and Eternal Name. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.
 
May the Divine Assistance remain always with us and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.

We also pray for more men to hear the calling of the Lord to the vocation of priesthood.
