Use this search engine that uses Google and get the same results as Google will give you except you’re donating to pro-life charities while you search!

prolifeinternet.com/

I hope this site is legit …

About a year ago, there was a similar search-engine called ProLifeSearch, which turned out to be a scam 😦

You can read about it here: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=169212

Anyone know anything about the new site, prolifeinternet.com ? I ran a ‘whois’ search on it, and It doesn’t SEEM to be affiliated with the guys from ProLifeSearch … but I am skeptical now, since I was taken in before 🤷

I highly doubt that it is a scam. I e-mailed them asking for a list of the charities that they contribute to. I’ll let you all know what charities they contribute to when I get the e-mail reply back.

Holly, I really do hope this new site is deserving of your confidence. ProLifeSearch also had a huge list of groups that they supposedly donated to, before they disappeared ‘into the night.’

From the thread that I linked above, you can read about how they sent out an e-mail to people who had ordered a set of books from them, saying, “Now the website itself: Sadly, the bottom line is that some of the web developers we hired for this project left our employ and changed all of the passwords to the site. This meant that for months we could not access the site, change the site, or post any new information on the site. It also meant that we could not access our list of book purchasers to notify them of the problems we were having.”

Yet, somehow, despite having been “unable to access the e-mail list”, they were somehow able to send spam e-mails on a mortgage ‘business’ to the same people who had ordered their books, but were still waiting to receive them:

I promoted ProLifeSearch to many people, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, even when some folks were skeptical (with good reason, as it turned out).

I hope you can understand why I’m taking a ‘wait and see’ approach with this new site. The color scheme and format chosen by Prolifeinternet.com is almost identical to the old ProLifeSearch, so that raises my suspicions also.

I’ll keep my eyes/ears open for more info, and I’ll post here if I hear anything, as I’m sure others would like to know, too.

Perhaps the site is a scam and perhaps it is not. I don’t really know. All I know is I would rather just give them the benefit of the doubt until there is proof that the site is a scam.

I can understand that 🙂 As I said earlier, I don’t know for certain that the two are connected, but just wanted to share a few things for those who might be interested.

I, too, am hoping that this new site turns out to be legit … I’d be thrilled to use and recommend them to many others, if so :yup:
