A Pronoun Mishap by a First Grader

Time to home school our children - these people are out of control.

I used to just roll my eyes and chuckle when someone told me that they wouldn’t send their kids to public school and would home-school them instead because of such and such a reason. I made it through public school and came out ok, I reasoned.

I honestly never envisioned the crazy, depraved nonsense that schools have started to not only teach to children as young as kindergarteners and first graders, but to continue to teach in the face of parental objection and refusing to consider exemptions. It is so dystopian, I have a hard time believing it is actually true. They’ve well and truly lost their minds.

Now, if I ever have kids, I would very strongly consider sending them to anything but a public school. At least then I have some control over what other people put into their heads.

Perhaps consider saying a prayer for those you laughed at previously. They suffered from much misunderstanding and having people doubt and even ridicule them. I recall when homeschoolers were persecuted even by other Catholics. They had to fight an uphill battle.
