“Reading the cardinal’s The Day Is Now Far Spent , one has the sense of encountering an Old Testament prophet.”

So writes father Paul Scalia. I don’t know father Scalia, but his description does justice to Cardinal Sarah’s newest book. (I haven’t read the previous ones)

“In this book he fulfills the prophet’s role: to remind, exhort, condemn, warn and console.” continues the author.

The review appears in the National Catholic Register. http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/cardinal-robert-sarah-a-prophetic-voice-for-the-catholic-church

Father Paul Scalia is, I believe, the son of the late Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia. He is (Father Paul) seen as a promising young priest who is solidly Catholic.
