I thought and they were considered schismatic.

I’m simply asking, because they sound more like Fr. O’Hare and less like Cr. Ratzinger.

Well you thought I did. Don’t know Pope Benedict’s views on Martin Luther or how I would know, but I’m sure he’s not the only Catholic to think those things. I don’t agree w/some things Brother Peter Dimond preaches, but he’s basically up to point on things with the Catholic church prior to Vatican II. He just does not agree w/Vatican II.

I certainly was hoping. Perhaps someone else does. My sense is that since Vatican II there has been a thawing of polemics and condemnations (at least) between our communions. The JDDJ, other ecumenical discussions, and the visits by both John Paul and Benedict to the Lutheran Church in Rome seem to be evidence of such thawing. Since Br. Dimond doesn’t recognize Vatican II, he might not share the opinions and goals expressed in these events. Again, maybe someone here knows.

I appreciate you posting these. I said above I view these kinds of conspiracy theories with a grain of salt. These are not worthy of a grain of salt.

However, I fail to see how answering conspiracy theories about Catholicism with a conspiracy theory about freemasonry helps at all. It seems like you tried to fight hate with more hate. That only is going to make things worse.

I admitted I posted some & I thought maybe I shouldn’t have after, but I wanted to show the person how there’s an attack on the church. This person claimed the Catholic church to be freemason, when the fact is that you’re not even supposed to be a freemason if you’re Catholic. There was definitely some conspiracy theories in that 1 video, but there are definitely some truths in it.
