God give us grace so that we can live without mortal sin and be happy with Him in the next life. We exist to know, love, and serve God. Also, a human rational soul is like to God because it is an immaterial immortal spirit with understanding and free will.
 
Spirituality is deep. I like the simpler messages from the Bible.
