A Question About Hell

You said that it is possible to happen to me but in such a way that what i have described and that it is nothing compared what is to come…have i understood correctly ?
I am saying any horrible punishment is possible in Hell. The worst punishment though is the agony of permanent separation from God. We were created to be with God in Heaven, and if we end up in Hell, our greatest longing and our only true hope can never be fulfilled.

So I would have to endure being the girl for demons and castration forever…and much more…is this a valid point ?
Whatever punishment you get in Hell is forever, yes. I cannot say for sure whether that includes castration and all the other things you saw in your dream. I would imagine that your dream is your subconscious revealing one of your greatest fears. Instead of focusing so much on your greatest fear, use that dream to remind yourself to work towards getting to Heaven.

Dear Knight ----

HELL IS AN ETERNAL REALITY NO JOKING

If you are genuinely concerned about winding up there, I suggest you quit joking!

As an aside, in the Book of Sirach it says that dreams are nonsense and many perish by them. 😦

Peace,

Gail

But why isn’t it possible to defend yourself against the demons…for example, I would have to arrive on horseback there, if my ‘‘vision’’ is accurate…how would they manage to turn me into a girl and then to be pleasing them ? I am sorry if this sounds comical in some way but I am serious - hell is a big place, it seems, so why isn’t it possible to run away somewhere /etc…I hope you do understand my point without any comical twists because it is not my intention.

Knighthorse, I am involved in a deliverance ministry in which I pray for people who are experiencing issues of demonization.

A hard lesson I had to learn was my utter powerlessness against a demon on my own without God’s help. I received an attack on my mind shortly after a successful deliverance session and it was absolutely devastating. I had to make quick recourse to God through prayer to fend off the attack.

If that is any indication of the kind of power demons have over us with God’s protection in his allowing them to attack me to teach me a lesson, then I can’t begin to imagine our utter helplessness in Hell against them. I shudder at the thought, actually.

Now quit obsessing over this and start thinking about what you need to do to work out your salvation. 🙂

KH, In hell people do as they are told. If God wants them to be able to defend themselves, then they can, If He does not allow it, then they cannot. No one can describe hell for you or its various torments or whether anyone ever gets to do anything they like or whether there is some relief for one second a day----the reality is that people send themselves to hell because they choose to be separated from God, and God honors their ardent wish.
To the unbeliever, KH, heaven would be more of a punishment, as they would be forced to spend time with a God they hate. So a more fitting place must be created, and was. God does not force himself upon those who insist, absolutely insist, on being separated from Him. He draws people, the Holy Spirit draws people, but it is up to the individual, i.e. free will. Free means free to choose heaven or hell for yourself, right now.

It is very likely my greatest fear but enduring it for eternity is unimaginable. So when people say this is not so bad, I cannot imagine enduring it forever…you mentioned that there is no way to fight off demons but in hell they seem physical is there really nothing I can do to defend myself against them ? I know I keep focusing on this but it is important to me. I do understand the rest of your message.

It may be important to you, but you can never know, and no one can ever tell you this side of heaven or hell, KH. That is a fact.

But why would God allow someone a defence and someone else not ?

This is so but people take for granted there is going to be the lake of fire ?

Because He wants to. Literally, because God chose to. There is no other explanation. Sovereignty means just that. God does what He does without explaining it to us. He is the Father, we are His children. He commands; we obey.
A five year old child might ask his or her father WHY can’t I cross this crowded expressway on foot, daddy? and the dad may or may not choose to go into a long dissertation on it, but the father has the child’s best interests at heart nevertheless. He may say Just Because, honey, and leave it at that.
Multiply the gulf between the child and the parent by infinity, and that is the relationship between us and our heavenly Father, who is all perfect. He cannot make mistakes. He gave us his Word in the form of the Bible. He does not have to explain everything to us, that’'s right, even if we demand an explanation.
Until we understand the concept of sovereignty and who God really is, we will not understand His power and authority over us and over all the world. We second-guess God constantly. We need to obey, not question.
We are constantly questioning God, and that is not only futile but is not the place of a son or daughter of God.

As mentioned previously, KH, the lake of fire is mentioned in the Bible. Whatever is mentioned in the Bible is the true state of things. Besides that, whatever we think about hell is mere speculation. So when it mentions lake of fire, it means that.

So to turn me into the girl in hell…it would be God’s work or demon’s work…and is heaven/hell a physical location ? What do you think about the screams from hell ?

Hello,

My name is Paul I am 22 years old and I belong to a knightly order in England. I have never thought about hell before until last night when I had a very terrifying dream. I saw the fires of hell and a demon in the foreground, something I am still afraid of . It has told me there are other eternal torments in hell, not just the lake of fire. The demon told me the following as to what awaits me in hell

''You will be brought here on your white horse in your shining armour and we will change you, change you into a pretty girlie who is very white wearing a short blue dress with no underwear with long blonde hair, you will serve each one of us for all eternity as that girlie , your horse shall be castrated, your manhood will be attached to it’s tail. "

I know it has been just a dream on the one hand but it is so vivid, even now, that I remember every detail. I never experienced anything like this before.
I just want to know if this can really be my fate in hell as punishment for my pride ? Is it really possible I would have to endure it forever ?

Thank you in advance for your response,

Paul.
Well that was a graphic dream, surely demons messing with your head, but regardless, Hell exists and most people go there nowadays.

Pride is the root and present in all sins. Being a noble is not sin, nor being proud of your familiy. What is a sin is not realizing that nobility is not to be served but rather serve. Why are you a noble?
Because your ancestors valued God and His Church more than their own lives and fought for greater causes. Their blood was shed so as others sleep with their families in peace.
Now that merits some privledges. But as soon as you become a jet set person, than you are worst than a simple person who gives their life to sin because you were called to give an example.
If you are not a pious person, a person devoted to the Church and others than you are just for show and have nothing to do with your past. And that will merit Hell. So pray and change your life, devote yourself to the Church, the service of the Pope and others.

Noblesse oblige!!!

To turn you into anything would ultimately be God’s work whether He allowed demons to do it or not
. Screams? I don’t blame them a bit.
Physical place? The Bible says so.
Psychological place? That too. Both physical and psychological.
Whatever I say, means nothing. Look up all the references to hell that are in the Bible, or some of them.

So by not being a pious person might equal pride which can equal hell ? In your opinion, can this ‘‘dream’’ actually be my punishment ?

Knighthorse, I have a PM to send you, but can’t since your inbox is full.

A dream those not suffice a punishment.

In fact it does not suffice any merit/punishment requirement.

You can’t sin or practice virtue in dreams.
Only when you are awake.

The dream is certainly a preternatural attack from demons.

St. Thomas talks about that in the Summa.

But none the less it helps reflect on a reality.
Hell exists and you have to change your life to avoid it.
But if you change just because of fear, you will never truly do it.

St. Theresa of Avila says we have to love God because He is He.
Not because of a promise of Heaven or a threat of Hell.

Pray the Rosary for a start. As well as avoid sins and their occasions.
