What do YOU suppose it means to “imitate Christ?”

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Love, which is an action (work).

In every way, shape, and form that you are capable of Loving.

:amen:

To imitate Christ is to love God and neighbor. We do this by depending on the Blessed Virgin, just as Christ did.

Look hard at the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary and, through Mary’s eyes, you will see.

Christ himself said, “learn of me for I am meek and humble of heart.” It is the only verse that told us to copy him.

Meek means gentle and kind.

Humble means, among other things, thinking and placing others first.

Based on copying Jesus in the light of these two virtues, a person could do no better.

to me it means:
To conform my will to the will of God, to die to myself and imitate Jesus in His virtues, especially His meekness, humbleness, and charity and to realize that I can not do this on my own strength, I need Gods grace and I need always to seek recourse to Mary to obtain these graces.

Hmmmmmm, so fat not a mention of OBEDIENCE:shrug:
