· Parker, does this mean that there are going to be many other worlds/universes in the future with other Gods ruling it?
· What happens to God after we all leave this earth and the other exalted gods have their universes?
· Does this earth continue to bear children and just keep going?
· Is there a chance for any of the universes to become corrupt as ours has?
Lamb of God Girly,
Wow! Those are very deep questions–some of them the kind I have had during my life.
An important basic is to understand that the only way a Divine being has power is because they are in perfect oneness with God the Father and a fulness of truth, just as Christ and the Father are one. Christ talked about becoming one with Him as He spoke His intercessory prayer, recorded in John 17:
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
…
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Future worlds or future multi-universes (I have no idea which is correct, but some of current science talks about multi-universes), will always be subject to the rule and reign of God the Father and of Jesus Christ. Any other “joint-heir” will be acting in perfect harmony with them, and will still worship them.
This earth becomes the Celestial home of those who are “joint-heirs” with Christ, after this earth has been through the Millenium.
This particular earth seems to have the most extreme opposites of good people and people who allow themselves to be controlled by Satan and his followers from pre-mortal life. So, I assume that other worlds will not have as great a difficulty with the corruption you noted. Satan will eventually have no controlling influence in our universe, as Isaiah and John in Revelation teach us. He will be cast into Outer Darkness and eternal torment.
I assume, though, that there will be some kind of opposition going on in other worlds to come, since opposition really allows for growth (like a muscle grows when it has to “push back” or “push up” and we grow as we “push on” through the challenges of life).
