It’s a lot off-topic, so either start another thread, or keep it on topic.

Thank you.
Hi

Thanks for you suggestion. A new thread “Story of my conversion’ Eucharisted” has been started. Friends are requested to comment there.

Hi

I clicked on your above story and could not find it on your blog. Please tell me under what heading it has been written.

Thanks
Hi Paarsurrey,

You actually have three options. The easiest is to click on the left side where it says “simple version of book.” You can start with the beginning chapter, but you must double-click the title first. (Follow the directions on the website.)

A better option is to download the book as a pdf. file. Once that’s done, it’s easier to read and you can enjoy the illustrations. You must have Adobe Reader for this.

The best option is to give me a physical address I will be happy to mail you a hard copy version of my book. I am not sure where you live, but I have sent several book overseas. It’s not too expensive, so I’m happy to do it for free.

Unfortunately, in some countries like Iran or China, they will not accept most religious material. In that case, I suggest the first or second option. If you have Adobe Reader, but a slow internet connection, I can email you the pdf file.

Blessings,

Jonathon

Hi

Thanks you for all your good options. I would like to first read your supernatural experience in one page story like the one Eucharisted has given. My pleasure.

The book would take you approximately 2-3 hours to read straight through. I cannot accurately share the details of my testimony in one page.

If you have other questions please send me a PM, because we have again gotten off topic.

Hi christcnection1!

I think following is the essence of your post, if I correctly understood it:

I do agree that GodAllahParmesherYHWH exists and I believe in him and love Him.
If you believe in Paramaeasarwa, you cannot logically say any of what follows. That is defective hindu theology, and deficient writing. It lacks adhikara.

Hi

Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut. My concept is :

Unity and ONENESS of God without including any other persons in His being or His attributes.

God- is the English name used mostly on the Globe to convey such concept of divinity of God.

Allah- is used in Arabia/Arabic even before Muhammad; he did not invent it, he only defined His attributes with much details and perfectly.

Parmeshar- is the same person used to describe divinity of God in Hindi/Sansikrat laguage in India, in my opinion.

YHWH- is the same Allah used in Hebrew/Judaism. Allah is also used by Christians in their Arabic Bible.Jews also think YHWH and Allah is the same.

To me it is the same person; only due to language difference different name have been given. I have no objection on any name given by any people in the world from Revelation from God; only the attibutes matter.

What is your concept?

I don’t believe in any demi or semi Gods. Jesus and Krishna were only perfect men Messengers and Prophets of GodAllahParmesharYHWH. They had nothing to do with divinty of God.

This is what I believe; others may correct me with their reasonable, rational and logical arguments. They are most welcome.

Thanks

This sounds like a good topic for another thread. Feel free to start one.

I’m aware of the doctrine and how it is explained.

If that child, finally decided they wanted help? According to your doctrine it’s too late. You may get a lifetime of chances, but after those 80 or so years are up, eternal suffering is your existance.

The human equivalent , is a child who finally asks for help and is willing to change and the parent accepts it is genuine change, but say’s No anyway.

Even if you want to be better eventually, the parent says, I don’t love you enough, to give you an eternity to try.

That is your hell. And a parent like that, is not a parent who loves the child.

The problem is not one of punishment. The problem with the doctrine that “eternal” punishment is without eternal choice.

I am aware of different interpretations. I also am aware that catholics believe that plagues WERE sent to punish man. My human equivalent still remains.

The human story probably horrifies you(which is why you like to focus on the NT), and if a parent ever did that I suspect you would be disgusted.

Why you can accept it from a god that you believe loves you is something I cannot understand. And I think I’m glad of that.

Well we can talk about the NT if you’d like.

Doesn’t change the fact that your “god” still did those things in the old testament does it?

It’s the same God, regardless of the “new testament” being a “changed relationship with humans through christ”.

He still did it, didn’t he? You can’t escape it, by focusing on the new, and improved God of the NT.

The HUMAN equivalent, of your God…is something you would probably reject outright. The question for you is, why do you accept it?
I think you take the Bible too literally. The God of the Old Testament was indicative of how people felt their relationship with God was. God was all powerful, creator and destroyer, a powerful, jealous God. People felt that God was the Source of All and that good things happened when people lived in a correct way (purity, laws, etc.), and bad things happened when they did not (idoltry, adultry, etc.)

With Jesus and the New Testament, our relationship to God becomes more personal. We are given Grace. God is merciful. We can feel the compassion of God through Jesus. We feel compassion for Him because he suffered so much for us. Through Jesus, we are given hope and a chance at redemption.

Of course, the both of us have come to the conclusion that the Lord was leading us to the Catholic Church. This is what we have chosen to place our faith in.

Bear in mind that many people have not had miraculous or supernatural experiences in helping them to guide thier decisions. Faith has always come very hard for me. It has been a difficult process of growth, but well worth the fight.
Hi

I think it won’t be off-topic, if you share the outline of your book, or a most interesting page from your book here in this forum, of your miraculous or supernatural experience.

I am interested.

No, it is more like the child trying to mend the relationship after the parent is dead. All the councilling in the world does not change the fact.
How is this so? The parent is not Dead. The parent is still there, and the parent is still aware of the suffering. This seems an odd way to approach the concept of love. A parent cannot “love” the child after they are gone. But God never dies, he has the capacity to forgive for eternity and allow the choice to accept him for eternity.

Why doesn’t he? It wasn’t the best analogy because God is never “gone” unless he chooses to be gone.
So, if I choose to put my leg across a train track, it is unfair that I only have one leg forever?
If a “forever” exists and a “loving” god also exists, then I would say yes. It is unfair to suggest that something that loves you and has the capacity to fix the leg if you ask(even if it takes you a really, really long time) then they would be obliged by their very love to do so.

If your own child lost a leg, and there was some way of 'bringing" it back as long as they didn’t do it again(accept wrong doing), then wouldn’t you recreate the leg?

No, I’m not God. But a God cannot love less than me.You and I have different concepts of love, apparently.
I think that I am having trouble. God does not always do what we would do. We also do not know what options were given to these people before the plagues.
No, but if we use the human equivalent most would be disgusted. But some-how, people are convinced that God, who is so great and loves us so much would do this thing out of love.

I guess, when I choose NOT to kill my child, I am less loving than God.

It seems the entire “we cannot understand God” is often used as an excuse to explain away things that are naturally morally repugnant to us.
So, if I do something that you do not like, will you always hold it against me? Would you be willing to find out why? Would you let our relationship progress from a new point if I changed my pattern of behavior against you? Or is it one strike and you are out?
No, but according to you, This is exactly what God does. One life-time and it’s the fires of hell(or the absence of God), with no chance of reprieve.

That is YOUR description of God, not mine.

You don’t realize that you just described your own faith do you? That one lifetime, is the One strike and out rule. It’s that very rule, you are arguing that defines my rejection of your doctine.

We can only do in this plane of existance. It is very much like when a parent dies. All that was left unsaid stays that way

He is never gone. However, what you want is the ability to score a touchdown after the ballgame is over

I should not have said forever, but you fget the point. Actions have consequences. TO say that it is not fair is to re-affirm that life is not fair.

I hate to ask these questions, but I will. If you choose not to answer, just say so and I will drop the subject. If you choose to answer, I ask everyone on this board to repect you. What sins are you so attached to? What vices have such a strong hold in your life? Or, if it is better, what do you love to do so much that the Church considers a sin and you do not? What was your relationship like with your father?

I’m glad you are interested. Maybe I’ll start a different thread that’s more directly related to this topic.
