Lets say that I am living in the South American jungle and I am a member of this tribe: news.mongabay.com/2008/0530-amazon_tribe.html I and my ancestors have lived here for as long as history is recorded. My tribe has had no, I repeat no human contact with anyone outside of our tribe ever.

Am I condemned to hell?

A simple yes or no answer is all that is sought. No scripture quotes are required or desired. If you cannot answer without quoting scriptures please do not answer. No justification for answers is needed.🙂
 
God makes those decisions. Whether they are in an isolated tribe or a cradle Christian.

I will say “No”, but I could be wrong and it wouldn’t be the first time that I have been wrong.🙂

Maybe when we get to Heaven there is remedial class on Jesus for those that missed out…👍

I would say they are not condemned, but only God knows for sure.

In the beginning of Romans there is something about people who worshiped created things as opposed to worshiping their Creator. I was told that it meant that those who worship creation would go to hell and those who worship a creator of some sort would go to heaven in the case of tribes such as these. Obviously I have no way of knowing if that’s true.

There’s also the story of that one tribe of some sort which greeted missionaries with joy and had been prepared by God to accept the message. I don’t remember any details though.

God knows what He’s doing…
 
Will you be condemned for what you don’t know and had no opportunity to know? I don’t think so.

Our idea of “fair” and God’s idea are not the same.

There is no reason on earth to believe they are saved. But in Heaven there is a merciful God.

Friend, I agree my reason for saying no is by Romans 11 and Acts 17and Romans 9 Deb

Given that you certainly sin, you are “deserving” of hell, but Jesus Christ died for your sins. So a yes or no answer is not possible. If you mean: does living and dying under those circumstances mean that a person will inevitably go to hell, the answer is clear: No!

If that were true, Jesus would not have commanded us to go and spread the Word. The Great Commission would not be very important, would it?

Sometimes Truth is hard to accept, and many people walk away because of it.

That is an unfounded claim, based on hypothetical speculation you have no business engaging in (and which doesn’t reflect well on the character of Jesus, or on anything else).

Of course the Great Commission is important. It is how people are made disciples. The fact that God may (and being God, almost certainly does) have ways of saving people even if we fall down on the job doesn’t authorize us to fall down on the job, and doesn’t mean that our falling down on the job is without negative consequences.

If you refuse to obey Christ unless He can promise to damn people if you don’t, then you don’t strike me as much of a disciple. Sorry for being rude, but given the enormity of the position you are defending, I’m not very sorry.

Yes. And sometimes the hard truth is that God is God and you are not quite as indispensable as you may want to think.

No, it’s not a leadership training course. It is how God brings the Truth of the Gospel to all nations, tribes and tongues.
