What do JWs do in neighborhoods where apartment buildings, particularly those you see in the city where you must have a key or be buzzed in, are the norm?
When I lived in New York City we would see if anyone would buzz us in and then work the building. If a JW lived in the bldg, often times they would buzz us in. If we could not get buzzed in, then a JW would work the bldg via telephone or U.S mail.
