I have the Saint Paul daily missal and I was wondering where the
The Prayer of the Faithful
A collection of short prayers of petition. After each petition is said the congregation will respond by saying, “Lord, hear our prayer” or something similar.

I’m not sure what you mean. Those are composed weekly by individual parishes. A missal will not have a list of them.

If you are looking for daily intentions/petitions, try the Liturgy of the Hours (Christian Prayer or Shorter Christian Prayer). The morning and evening offices each have petitions.

The Roman Missal copy used by the priest likely has suggestions in a section similar to an appendix; most personal copies like you refer to do not include these (since they are, after all, suggestions and not necessarily the ones actually used).

In the Roman Missal examples of the Prayer of the Faithful, also called the Universal Prayer or General Intercessions, are in Appendix V. This is page 1515 in the Catholic Truth Society edition. These (or at least similar ones) are at iBreviary
Some Masses have special ones, for example the book The Order of Confirmation, has (for a Mass with a Confirmation) this rubric: “30. The Universal Prayer follows in this or a similar form determined by the competent authority.” One the of the intentions is:
“For their parents and sponsors:
that by word and example
they may continue to encourage
those whom they have sponsored in the faith
to follow in the footsteps of Christ,
let us pray to the Lord.
R. Lord, we ask you, hear our prayer.”

Without changing the direction of this thread, the first step in praying the Liturgy of the Hours is to get an ordo, which tells you where you are in the liturgical year. The psalter in Shorter Christian Prayer is based on a 4-week cycle. Right now we’re in the 5th week of Lent, so you would do the morning and evening offices from Week 1, with the readings and prayers from Lent in the back part of the book.
To bring this back in line with the topic, you can use the intentions for today (Mon, week 1) as a base for you to form your intentions.
