Should we live a complete religios life, mass everyday etc,
Or should we partake in life to its fullest degree , or is it best to balance between the two ?
But still keeping your faith,What are your thoughts ?

You should do whatever God’s will is for you.

To discern what God’s will is for you, just begin by following the two commandments Jesus gave us, i.e. love the Lord God with all your being and love your neighbor as yourself.

This is what you should be doing, nothing else matters.

“10A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy;** I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly**.”
(John 10:10)

Giving your life to God in the way He wills is living life to the fullest degree!🙂 We will, however, undoubtedly fall short.

May God Abundantly Bless you

So then we should not partake in life to the fullest ?
And experience good as well as bad. Learn from your own experience of life … to discover the greatness of the lord first hand .

Friend, what do you mean “partake in life to the fullest?”

If by “living life to the fullest” you mean unrestrained indulgence of one’s appetites and satisfaction of idle curiosity, then no, one should not do that, because it isn’t living life to the fullest.

Have you ever met a truly religious person? Not someone who merely goes through the motions, but someone full of God, who loves him, and devoutly practices religion for that reason? Such people are not unfulfilled. They are the most joyful people you will meet.

We are not called to live a monastic life in the world, but we should remember that we are not of the world. We are pilgrims on the journey home to heaven. In order to get there we must be saints. If we keep that on our mind and order our lives around that, then we can’t go wrong in how we order our life. Rightly ordered recreation in moderation is actually a virtue, but if we can get to daily Mass, we should do so since we receive many graces from it.

I don’t see how living a completely faithful life (what you call religious life, daily mass, etc.) and partaking in life to its fullest degree are so opposed to one another that they must be “balanced.” Partaking in life to its fullest degree means living the life God wills for you, it is already “balanced”. Whether or not it consists of daily mass is a matter of discernment.

Christ was accused of being a glutton and wine bibber, of associating with sinners and publicans, tax collectors and working on the Sabbath (although his “works” on the Sabbath were works of mercy).

At the same time He used to go off and pray alone from time to time, especially when the pressure of the crowds got a bit much.
“The Church is the Church only when it exists for others…not dominating, but helping and serving. It must tell men of every calling what it means to live for Christ, to exist for others.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison

If I had one thing to recommend to anyone and everyone, it would be the divine indwelling in the soul and Jesus living within the soul. For this is possible for everyone. Recommend means practise. Knowing his presense within us as much as possible, as much as Jesus makes this possible. To constantly love and adore him within and wanting him with us every moment.

With this, our life seems to fall in place. The answers that we need are given.

If this seems impossible, then go to Jesus, ask him to make it possible. It is difficult to force it on your own, but just ask him to make it happen. Ask him to be there and to let you know that he is there. Place all the occurance of this happening on Jesus, but let him know that you want him. Then have confidence in him.

He can do this quite easily if a person sincerely desires it. For he reminds us of his presence when we get distracted from him for a time.

The next recommendation is the Holy Eucharist whenever possible, which strengthens him in us. It is the divine food for his divine life within us. “He who eats my body lives in me and I in him.”

Serving God is something I now take seriously and try to do every day. I’m able to attend Mass twice a week 🙂
